A tragic two-vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon resulted in one fatality and two injuries, according to authorities. Upon arrival at the scene, officers determined that a blue Acura sedan traveling northbound on Auto Center Drive had collided with a silver Lexus SUV traveling westbound through the intersection of West 10th Street. The impact of the crash was severe, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles.

The sole occupant of the Acura sedan, identified as a 30-year-old man, tragically succumbed to his injuries despite receiving immediate first aid and life-saving measures from emergency responders.

Meanwhile, the driver and passenger of the Lexus SUV sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Late Saturday morning, tragedy struck on Pine Boulevard as an unidentified woman lost her life in a pedestrian crash. Details indicate that a 36-year-old male was operating a 2016 Ford F-550 heading northbound when, for reasons yet unknown, the vehicle veered off the road, striking a woman walking along the shoulder. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the 61-year-old female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have refrained from disclosing her identity pending notification of her next of kin, handled by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
