Mark McCauley

Attorney Mark D. McCauley spent the first 17 years of his career representing defendants on behalf of several national insurance companies. In 2021 he shifted his focus to representing those who have been injured. Mark has been the lead trial attorney in 25 jury trials that dealt with slip and fall incidents, motor vehicle collisions, dog bites, and pedestrian accidents. A jury trial win regarding the loss of use of a classic car resulted in a published appellate decision upholding the verdict and clarifying the law in California. Mark has also successfully represented his clients in numerous arbitrations and mediations.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Brigham Young University and earned his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of California and has extensive experience representing clients in counties all over Northern California.

Mark has been married to his wife, Heather, for 22 years and they have two teenage children. He loves spending time with them at Lake Tahoe and biking, hiking, and swimming together. He is active in his local church and coaches youth basketball and football teams.

Before finishing college, Mark served as a missionary in Sapporo, Japan. His personal and legal experiences have taught him the value of empathy and compassion in working together to get through the challenges life brings.
