The father was killed instantly, while the boy went into a two-month coma and had to re-learn how to walk. They were among the 165 Sacramento cyclists who were injured in a year, 15 of whom were under the age of 15.

One couple was recently killed after their wedding anniversary when they were hit by a car going almost 100 miles an hour in South Sacramento.
